Edmund is a Ph.D. candidate studying economics at Northwestern University in the United States. Previously, he was a Research Analyst at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research from 2015 until 2018. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce with honors in economics from the University of Auckland. His dissertation under the supervision of Associate Professor John Hillas was in the field of epistemic game theory, which mainly looked at an alternative justification of the Dekel-Fudenberg procedure. Within the climate team project he has focused on the theoretical underpinnings of climate cooperation and effective contract design.
